Project Overview

We framed the complete roof structure for a new detached garage and workshop in Peoria. The gable roof was designed to maximize usable attic space for storage.

What We Did

• Installed ridge board and common rafters
• Framed gable ends and rake overhangs
• Applied OSB roof sheathing
• Installed drip edge and felt underlayment

Materials

• 2x8 KD Hem-Fir rafters
• 7/16” OSB sheathing
• Pre-manufactured ridge beam
